Halibut Charters start April 11, 2024, and you can reserve your spot now! (we are the earliest charter open in Seward)! Hunt for the fish of your dreams in the most pristine waters Southeast Alaska has to offer!  These halibut charters offer a tailored experience for the fisherman wanting some early season action. Being the major target fish, early season trips maximize your time out on the water pursuing these beasts. Perfect trip to get out on the water early and get some prime meat in your freezer. You’ll have the opportunity to catch and retain nice-sized halibut, from our custom-built boats. Our catch records are among the best in the Seward area!  We also often encounter whales and other sea life while fishing, and we always slow the boat down to take a closer look at wildlife. It’s a stunning environment in which to spend your day, rain or shine.

We begin taking Summer 2024 reservations for the North Annex Campground and cabins (Uncle Steve’s, Yurts, Rocket House, Salmon Cabins) on February 1, 2024

Water Taxi Update (stay tuned for more details) – At Miller’s Landing, your safety and comfort are our top priorities. To continue providing you with the best water taxi experience while adhering to Coast Guard regulations, we are implementing a few important limits and guidelines, effective April 1, 2024. These changes are designed to enhance passenger safety, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensure that everyone on board can enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable journey. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we make these necessary adjustments.

Here are a few key updates:

  • Passenger Capacity Limits: In accordance with Coast Guard regulations and for the safety of all passengers and crew, we will be implementing a maximum passenger capacity limit on each water taxi. This limit will be prominently displayed, and we kindly ask that all passengers adhere to it.
  • Baggage and Personal Items: We ask that passengers limit their personal items and baggage to ensure there is enough space for everyone to move freely and comfortably. Oversized items may need to be stowed in designated areas on the outer decks. For 2024, each passenger is permitted 1 bag, 1 cooler, 2 bundles of firewood, and 1 kayak per person. Any additional items will be subject to a $5 fee per item.  DOGS MUST BE LEASHED.
  • Safety Briefings: We conduct mandatory safety briefings before each trip. Please pay close attention to these briefings, as they contain important information about emergency procedures and onboard safety.

These changes are essential for maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone on board. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us adhere to Coast Guard regulations and ensure that all passengers and crew members can travel with peace of mind. We understand that these changes may raise questions, and our customer service team is available to address any concerns you may have. You can reach us at (907) 331-3113 or [email protected].
