Transport to Northwestern Fjord in Kenai Fjords National Park

Miller’s Landing provides water transportation for independent wilderness travelers, campers, and kayakers (in our custom-built landing craft) to the Kenai Fjords areas in Harris Bay and Northwestern Lagoon. There are many areas to explore on foot, and wildlife abounds.

Kayakers can also camp on beaches. Paddle through the scenic coastal waters and tidewater glaciers, viewing sea otters, stellar sea lion rookeries, seabird colonies, dolphins, and whales as Alaska’s majestic untouched wilderness surrounds you. Icebergs from calving glaciers provide the ideal refuge for harbor seals, and the rugged coastline provides habitat for more than 100,000 nesting birds.

Our 36′ twin outboard boat has ample room for your gear and kayaks.  Be ready to enjoy the great outdoors!

To book a water taxi trip from Miller’s Landing, just find the date for your travel and book online. If you’re booking for a smaller party, just call or email — we can usually accommodate smaller parties! Need more information about our water taxi transportation to the Kenai Fjords? Simply email or phone us for questions you might have and we’ll get back to you!

Our water taxi leaves Miller’s Landing at 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. and picks you up at 6:30 p.m. at Northwestern Fjord.

Fuel Surcharge:

Please know that fuel is the largest expense we have as charter operators. Our prices reflect the price of fuel at the time of publishing. In previous years we have not added a fuel surcharge, but it’s clear with the volatility and uncertainty in the market that this not a practice we can continue.

A fuel surcharge will only be applied in the event of soaring fuel prices based on the price of fuel at the time of your charter. Should the price of marine fuel remain under $4.75 per gallon there will be no additional charge.
We are steadfast in our position that we do not want to limit the range of our vessels due to the cost of fuel – our choice of fishing grounds should not be directed by the cost at the pump. By adding a fee schedule we can mitigate that concern, the expense represents a significant impact over the course of a season.
