Reservations

The Reservations Team consists of three crews who cover our main store hours of operation – 5:00am to 10:00pm, 7 days a week– with a 4th shift (Night Audit) covering the overnight. While we do our best to provide consistent schedules with 2 consecutive days off, you must be willing to work morning shift, mid-shift, and evening shift as needed; all four shifts must be able to work weekends and holidays.

This is primarily a front of house position. You will spend most of your time helping clients check in for their tours and lodging, confirming reservations, maintaining the store, and processing phone, email, and in person questions and sales.

**Night Auditors will be responding to calls, assisting late arrivals/current guests with after-hours issues, auditing upcoming reservations, communicating updates to the other teams, and making sure the store is ready for opening.

Skills Required

  • At least 2 years of public-facing responsibilities (i.e., retail, food service, education)
  • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute
  • Professional, courteous attitude and appearance
  • Works well with public
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to sit, stand, crouch, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be a team player
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification

Job Duties

  • Process walk-in, phone, email questions and booking reservations
  • Assist guests with bookings, check-ins, directions, and local knowledge
  • Provide professional, pleasant, guest-oriented customer service
  • Audit reservations
  • Perform daily side work, including cleaning store and workspaces
  • Restock merchandise
  • Promptly disseminate messages across departments
  • Odd jobs as requested by manager

For 2024, starting pay for Reservations Representative is $15/hr, Night Auditor starting at $16/hr.  Expect to arrive 05/01/24 for training, and commit to stay the season, ending 09/15/24. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.  Housing is available on a first hired-first served basis in either the staff bunkhouse, dry rooms, or dry cabins.

Campground Host

As Campground Host, you’ll get to know our guests by responding to questions, helping guests find their sites, providing information about how they can join our fishing and kayaking adventures, assisting with events that use the Annex cabins and campground (primarily weddings), assisting with maintenance of the grounds and outbuildings, sometimes resolving complaints, and enjoying the majesty of our area.

Job Duties

  • Assistance with client check-in / directing them into their sites as needed
  • Use of Maintenance/Work Order software to respond to urgent and daily repairs or maintenance
  • Provide pleasant, guest-oriented customer service
  • Daily cleaning and maintenance of Annex restrooms
  • Routine “drive thru” audits of campground and campers – collecting rubbish, confirming correct sites
  • Routine “Safety checks” to audit campground and campers
  • Assisting Events team as needed; on-call during event for any urgent response, assist with any set up, monitoring, and/or clean up required
  • Promptly disseminate messages across departments
  • Odd jobs as requested by manager

For 2024, starting pay for this position is $15/hr, including RV site and 30Amp electrical hookup.  Preferred arrival date is by 05/01/24 for training, with the season ending 09/15/24; Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.
