Miller's Landing is proud to offer the most diverse options for Half, Full, and Multi-Day kayaking excursions in Seward!
Our company water taxi vessels are ready to take you to and from remote locales without having to pay a middle man, and our homestead location on Lowell Point is right on the water, which means less time in a shuttle van from town and more time in the kayak!
Please explore our many options, and if you have any questions - please just send us a quick email! Our location, boats, and history allow us to offer the most affordable rates in the Seward area for every trip we offer, and if you find a better rate - let us know, we'll likely match it or beat it!
*Your safety comes first! Clients must be able to perform a paddle float re-entry and wet exit! Must have Sea Kayaking experience! We are happy to provide lessons!
*Must successfully demonstrate a wet exit and paddle float re-entry during the lesson if new to kayaking to qualify! Wet suits and shower facilities provided for clients participating in lessons.
Just some of our many diverse options! Most trips leave more than one time per day! To see a full list - click the Sea Kayak Guided Day Trips header above or choose "Guided Day Trips" from the kayaking fly out menu!
Our guided kayakign trips leave right from Miller's Landing's homestead location, right on the water on beautiful Lowell Point. Established in 1982, Miller's Landing was one of the first guided kayak and water taxi operators in Seward. Over 34 years later we continue to provide quality service and products. We are a dealer for Necky Kayak, and our custom built water taxi boats frequent all the desired destinations in Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Fjords National Park!
Whether you're interested in a few friendly hours on the water so you can say you had the experience, or a full day, fully immersed trip to the calving glaciers of the Kenai Fjords National Park, we can help. You may find that our trip prices are already much more economically priced than our competition, and this is in large part because we own our own water taxi platform, and we're already located at the departure point and can mitigate transportation costs. You may also notice we have a larger variety of trip offerings than any other outfitter in Seward, and again this is due to our flexibility and long standing operations experience facilitating trips with Water Taxi.
Whatever your interests are, from Yoga to checking out starfish, we have a trip for you! Feel free to contact us with any questions, we're always available via chat, phone, or email!
We are happy to arrange custom expeditions for you and your group. With or without support from our water taxi vessel at all price points. Owning our own water taxi platform allows us to greatly mitigate the cost of leading a trip for you. Additionally, we generally do not base camp, and this allows so much more flexibility on multi day adventures. We are not bringing inflatable outhouses, we are making a dynamic voyage through the park systems with the interest in limiting impact at camp sites and covering ground in a comfortable and safe manner. The scenery is always changing, and the adventure never stops!
Miller's Landing is proud to host the largest variety of overnight kayaking expedition options in Seward, accessing the State or National Park systems for two days and one night, or much more! We work with custom requests daily, and are capable of helping you plan your entire excursion whether we're guiding it or not - for free.
We have guides from all backgrounds trained in the area by experienced certified instructors, all with medical training and registered with the state parks. Most importantly, our guides maintain positive and have that infectious energy, always inspiring and driving the adventure forward!
Our overnight kayaking trips are the highlight of most folks visit to Alaska. So take a look - whether it's circumnavigating Seward and Resurrection Bay, staying at a wilderness lodge for the night and taking a water taxi home, or it's spending a week kayaking between Northwestern Fjord and Aialik Bay, with water taxi support and food drops. We've got you and your interests covered.
Check the expeditions out!
