Resurrection Bay Guided Overnight Trip

Quick Details

Each Additional Night

The Best Way to See Resurrection Bay

  • Two days/one night  – can add extra days
  • Includes camping gear, water taxi, kayak, and guide
  • Meals are included in the price but special dietary meals incur additional charges. Examples: Vegetarian, no red meat, no dairy, no gluten, etc. Please be sure to inform us if you have allergies or need special attention with your diet at the time of your reservation. You may also choose to buy your own groceries and be credited.

Please be sure to inform us if you have medical or ethical dietary restrictions:

  • We plan meals for the “average eater.” Feel free to bring your own snacks! We really try to accommodate everyone’s diet, but please understand we don’t have enough room to pack a buffet in a kayak. If you would like to buy your own groceries, a $20 refund will be subtracted from your trip cost.

Trip route:

  • Paddle from Miller’s Landing five miles south of Caine’s Head and enjoy Tonsina Beach and Bridal Veil Falls along the way. At Caine’s Head, you can choose between three different trails to hike. After hiking, a water taxi takes you across the bay to camp in either Thumb Cove or Fox Island. You enjoy kayaking in beautiful Thumb Cove and Humpy Cove the next day and can be back in Seward for dinner after this amazing overnight kayak trip in Resurrection Bay!

Your guide:

  • Is with you every step of the way on this trip to help make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

Plenty of wildlife:

  • Eagles, seals, sea lions, Dall’s porpoises, and sea otters are likely encounters along with the potential for several rarer species.  Don’t forget your camera! Otherwise, no one will believe your stories.

Gratuities are not included in the original sale price, a suggested 20% guide tip is greatly appreciated! Suggested tip $35 -$53/person.
