Seward Alaska - Water Taxi
 Tonsina Beach is a favorite for kayakers, fishermen, and
hikers alike. Tonsina Beach has a large beach to beachcomb
and has a salmon stream where you can easily catch pink and
chum salmon during salmon season. Folks can limit out (6
per person) here.
When the silvers are running this is also
an excellent spot to catch those swimming by that are
attracted to the fresh water smell of the stream.
Many
fishermen fly fish here as well as salt water fish. Most
people prefer to hike here, catching the water taxi back one
way with their catch of salmon, as it is only a mile and a
half hike from Miller’s Landing.
