Miller's Landing provides
water transportation for independent wilderness travelers,
campers and kayakers (in our 32 foot boat) to the Kenai
Fjords areas in Aialik Bay, Holgate Arm; Harris Bay, and
Northwestern Lagoon. There are many areas to explore
on foot and wildlife abounds.
Common destination points are the
National Park cabins in the Aialik area. Public-use cabins
along the coast are available by reservation from the
National Park Service. The cabins are located at Holgate
Arm, Aialik Bay and North Arm.
Kayakers can also camp on
beaches. Paddle through the scenic coastal waters and
tidewater glaciers, viewing sea otters, Stellar sea lion
rookeries, seabird colonies, dolphins and whales as Alaska's
majestic untouched wilderness surrounds you. Icebergs from
calving glaciers provide the ideal refuge for harbor seals,
and the rugged coastline provides habitat for more than
100,000 nesting birds.
Our 32' twin diesel boat has ample
deck room for your gear and kayaks. When we get to your
destination, we can help you get your gear from our charter
boat to shore with our inflatable raft. Be ready to
enjoy the great outdoors! |
