Seward Alaska - Horseback Tours
|
Bardy's Trail Rides |
|
|
2 Hour Tour on the Shores of Resurrection Bay Book with our Secure Reservation Form |
This area is only accessible by horse back. View
bald eagles up close, see where they nest and watch them feed. It is
rare that you can't ride your horse right under the trees where they
majestically perch. The bird life of this area is very diverse, active and up
close. This Trail Ride could very well be the wilderness highlight
of your trip to Seward and Alaska.
We will ride through part of the old town of Seward that was
destroyed by the great earthquake of 1964. You will hear the stories
of the people who lived through it. Our horses will then take us to the shore of the bay where
the wild flowers meet the ocean.
We have two trail rides a day, beginning at 12 pm and 3 pm
(check in 20 minutes early) during the months of May, June, July and
August. $85/person for 2 hour ride, up to 7 per group.

Bardy's Alaska Outfitters is truly a unique Alaskan wildlife
experience. We take horse pack trips into the Mountains of the Chugach
Forest on the Kenai Peninsula. I grew up riding these mountains and am
still awed by the rugged beauty.
You will be staying in your own
personal very unique cabin. These cabins are the only private cabins on
the Resurrection Trail system. They were built in the 1920's and have
been recently restored. On our rides we will talk about the history of
the area and take you to places that nobody else ever visits. Some of
the wild game you can expect to see are moose, caribou, bear and wolves.
This adventure is for small groups, 6 and under and for a minimum of
three days. You will sleep in a comfortable bed and eat like a king.
This is an intimate and very casual once in a lifetime adventure. |
