Glacier Air Adventures  |  Scenic Mountain Air

Glaciers, Kayaks, Floatplanes and You

You might not have ever considered flying over glaciers in a floatplane.  But you should, it will be the highlight of your entire Alaskan Holiday.

Flight-Seeing

The two best means of seeing and touching Alaska together to give you the most unique and rewarding experience possible.

Flight-Seeing

Mountain topWe soar over mountains, glaciers and ice fields in an Alaska bush plane getting the birds eye view only possible from the air.  We then explore the Chugach Mountains, the Chugach National Forest, Prince William Sound, The Gulf of Alaska, and the Kenai Fjords National Park.

   Flight-Seeing

Icefield

Board a Bush plane g f and watch the spray peel off the floats as we lift off and climb up the Snow River.  Hanging glaciers cling to the sides of the valley as we gain altitude to reveal the Sargent Ice field; a seemingly endless expanse of white. Spend time in a magical world of wind-sculpted icebergs, surrounded by rainforest and glaciers.  The flight home takes us out to over the Gulf of Alaska, along its rugged coast filled with bird rookeries, steep fjords and historic World War II embattlements.  We descend of the scenic Port of Seward returning to Bear Lake.

Bear Lake Air Flight-seeing

Bear Lake Air: The best way to see Alaska is from the air. Soar over glaciers, icefields and alpine lakes, and search for moose, goats, sheep, bear and marine life such as whales, porpoise and otters. From Bear Lake, you have access to the Kenai Fjords National Park, Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, Chugach National Forest, and some of the wildest country in the world.

Bear Lake Air Fly In Fishing

Flight-see the Kenai Fjords from Seward Alaska

Flight-Seeing

Fly-in for a day of trout and/or grayling fishing at one of the Kenai Peninsula's wild and pristine lakes. Choose from Lower Paradise, Upper Paradise, Crescent, Upper Russian or Lost Lakes.  Soar over the Kenai Fjords like an eagle, look deep into the mouths of crevasses, glide over icebergs, cruise past bird rookeries, circle breaching humpback whales.  The boat ride is nice but the view where we sit is awesome.  The experience is absolutely unforgettable.  Even if you been on a glacier tour boat you have never seen the glacier like you will with us.  We pick you up in a float equipped Alaskan bush plane in Seward and whisk you away from the crowds, soaring over the ice fields and along rock escarped sea cliffs, past sea lions and bird rookies, away from the crush of the tour boats and packages tours.  You will glide over translucent lakes, icebergs spires piercing the sky, floating on ethereal basses submerged into the darkness.  We cruise past the glacier faces, looking up at their serrated edges.  In about an hour we will show you what would take over six hours to see by boat, and so much more.

You're in Alaska, do what Alaskans do.  See it from the air.
