Could you let Wes know how much of a difference he made to my
grandson, Jacob Taylor? He talked so much about the fishing with Wes.
Jacob died yesterday. Wes made such an impact on his last year of life.

I want to tell you guys thank you for the hospitality you showed my grandson and I. Wes did such a great job with my grandson, Jacob. It was the highlight of our trip.

Jacob got his wish, he visited Alaska, shore fished
with our guide Wes and caught a beaut of a salmon! We were happy to be able to make this one small wish happen.

June 7, 2009-
My grandson, Jacob, has always had a wish to see
Alaska. He became interested from the 5 years I traveled to Bethel to
work as a travel nurse. I promised I would take him when he turned 10,
which isn't until 2010.
Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor 3 weeks
ago. He is starting chemo and radiation this week. There is a <20%
chance that he will survive 2 years.
My dream is to take him to see Alaska in mid August; since, he will be
finished with his radiation the end of July, and should be finished with
chemo. His birthday is August 17th so, I am looking at August 18-26th.
The main problem is, I don't have much money to pay for activities.
