Seward is a
fisherman's paradise..
Our saltwater fishing charters target world class Halibut, Rockfish,
Ling Cod and Silver Salmon along one of Alaska's most beautiful
coastlines...Kenai Fjords National Park. Miller’s Landing specializes in
six person charters for a more personalized, private, and less
competitive fishing experience. We will book a charter with just
two persons and will commit to taking them out, even if we don’t fill
the other 4 spots on our "six pack" boat.
Once on the fishing grounds, you will have the opportunity to catch
some of the best eating fish in the ocean. Your captain will instruct
you on the proper method to fish for halibut, ling cod, black bass, or
salmon. Your hook will be baited, dropped into the sea and you are ready
to catch a fish.
Our goal is for each
person to catch his or her limit of halibut or salmon. Halibut
fillet out at about 60% of their live weight. If you are lucky you may
catch one that weighs more than 100 lbs. Now, that’s a lot of fish and
chips! Plus you have the added bonus of viewing all the beautiful
scenery of the Kenai Fjords and Alaskan wildlife. Does it get any better
than this?
