and has been paddling the waters of Resurrection Bay since the mid
1990’s. Brian studied journalism in Olympia Washington at the Evergreen
State College and has traveled to Europe, Egypt and South America. After
spending a couple of years in Hawaii, Brian moved back North. He

since 2002. Brian brings a lifetime of outdoor Alaska experience on
every trip.
Jeremiah
Kelley
Minnesota born Jeremiah Kelley will be making his third drive to Millers
this season. A student of Outdoor Education at the University of
Minnesota in northern Duluth, Jeremiah has been a certified costal kayak
instructor with the American Canoe Association since 2002. Cross-trained
in both CPR and First Aid Jeremiah is an avid seeker for the out of
doors. Recently back from his 2003 Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike, Jeremiah
has kayaked on the sun faded beaches of Costa Rica, Honduras, and the
Philippines.
Bobbie Mumm
Born and raised in Montana, Bobbie found
her passion for the outdoors at a young age, and continues to further
her connection with nature while enjoying such activities as: Sea
kayaking, hiking, snowboarding, backpacking, rafting, and just plain
exploring of most any kind. She's been an educator of sorts for several
years and finds nature to be the most fun and diverse learning
environment. Her passion for paddling began in the waters of SouthEast
Alaska as a Wilderness Sea Kayak Ranger and has since been a guide in
SouthCentral Alaska, in the Prince William Sound and Kenai Fjords
National Park. She's also enjoyed a bit of exploring in Kachemak Bay and
New Zealand. Bobbie has been a Water Safety Instructor for 14 years and
is a Wilderness First Responder.
"I look forward to another season at Miller's Landing and hope to meet
you and your families throughout the summer!" - Bobbie Mumm
