Boat and Motor Rentals

Boat and motor rentals are available at Miller's Landing as well as fishing pole rentals for those who want to do day fishing for halibut and salmon here in Resurrection Bay, or for those who just wish to go out for a few hours sightseeing or cruising the Bay. This is an economical and fun way to take the whole family fishing for salmon or halibut. The boats are 16 foot aluminum skiffs with outboard motors ranging from 25 horsepower to 9.9 horsepower. Life jackets, flares, first aid kits, and emergency kits are provided at no extra charge with each boat. Miller's Landing also has halibut and salmon fishing poles for rent, as well as fishing licenses, bait, tackle, snacks, ice, and gifts. A big multi-station fish cleaning area is provided complimentary for your use, when you come in with your load of fish. Fishing Boat Rentals with 20 HP or 9.9 HP Motor We rent 6 person skiffs that come complete with the following equipment: Life Preservers, flares, first aid kit, oars, anchor, & landing net. $100 4 hour rental includes 1 tank of gas $175 Full day includes 1 tank of fuel $100 4 hour rental includes 1 tank of fuel $175 Full day includes 1 tank of fuel There is a $100.00 Deposit required for all skiff rentals.   All skiffs must be in by 8:00 pm $25 for each additional tank

The outer limit for Boat Rentals

Resurrection Bay contains Halibut, Red Snapper, Silver Salmon, King Salmon, Pink and Chum Salmon, Flounder, Rock Fish, Black Bass and Rock Fish. Fishing is good May through September for bottom fish species and from June through September for Salmon Species. Peak season for silver salmon is the last week of July through August.

Boat Launching Services:

Miller's Landing provides boat launching services for those customers bringing their own boats. We launch you with our 4x4 farm tractor, and have your trailer ready to land when you return. Campers receive discounted prices for launching. Campers who launch themselves may do so at no charge. (There is a charge for launching for visitors who are not camping here.) 4 wheel drive is required to launch your own boat. Most boats up to 24' can launch at any time other than a minus tide or a very low tide. Boat launching crews usually receive monetary tips from the customers if they have to get wet assisting in bringing in your boat on the trailer. (They go through lots of shoes and blue jeans in one day getting wet when trying to help you line up your boat on your trailer....)

Fishing License Information

Fishing licenses can be purchased at Miller’s Landing. Children under age 16 do not need to have a fishing license. Military and residents pay $24 annual. For On Line Licensing click HERE
