Full kitchen and 1 ½ baths This cottage was new to Miller's Landing for 2004 and is the nicest cottage. 4 bedrooms. 1 guest room on 1st floor. 3 guest rooms on the 2nd floor. The "A" room has a King bed and 2 roll-a-way beds. The "B" room has 2 twin beds. The "C" room has a double bed. The "D" room has 2 twin beds. An additional amenity available for larger groups is 2 airbeds. This cottage is about a 4 minute walk to the beach and is nestled in a private setting in the woods across from the original Miller's Homestead farm and barnyard, so be prepared for crowing roosters to awaken you in the morning - no alarm clock necessary. Linens included. The cabin is heated with propane and a cozy wood stove (included). The kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots & pans, silverware, etc. Amenities include TV/VCR in the living room, There is a large selection of videos to choose from but there is no tv reception. dining room, refrigerator and stove and a BBQ and picnic table outside. There is a $100 cash refundable cleaning deposit required to be sure the kitchen is left clean/dishes washed and put away and trash bundled and removed.

Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM

Lodge on Resurrection Bay:

This Lodge is located two doors down from Miller’s Landing. This is a wonderful place to stay if you need a fishing charter, or want to go kayaking at Miller’s Landing. They also have custom sightseeing tours for a more personalized experience: (Please see tours section of our website for details).

The following is a description of the rooms with prices.


The Lodge Three bedroom suite.  (sleeps 8) $349 double occupancy $15 for each additional person per night. 3% sales tax. This suite includes a private kitchen area with refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The living room has a view of the mountains and Resurrection Bay. The suite is upstairs in the original lodge with 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two double beds. The last room has two twin beds. Each bedroom has a private bath. This area works well for a large family. Continental breakfast is included. Check-in is 4 PM Check-out is by 10 AM. 

The Lodge View Suite. (Sleeps 4) $299 double occupancy $15 for each additional person per night. This suite has a bath and half along with a full kitchen area with stove, refrigerator, microwave and a large living room with a view of the mountains and Resurrection Bay This suite works well for those who appreciate a large living room with a view and also works well for a family. Breakfast is served in a common lounge area that overlooks Resurrection Bay and the Chugach Mountains. Most days from any of our areas with views of the Bay, you will see sea otters, sea lions, bald eagles, and occasionally a humpback or Orca whale. 

The Lodge View Bedroom. These bedrooms are larger than the standard rooms above. Each bedroom has a great view of the mountains and Resurrection Bay. Most days you will see eagles, and sea otters and sometimes sea lions. These rooms have 1 queen and 1 double bed, microwave, refrigerator, sofa, writing table, and private bath. The booking rate is $199/night and includes a continental breakfast. 
Breakfast is served in a common lounge area that overlooks Resurrection Bay and the Chugiak Mountains. Most days from any of our areas with views of the Bay, you will see sea otters, sea lions, bald eagles, and occasionally a humpback or Orca whale.

Lowell Point Cabin:

Lowell Point Cabin is across the street from Miller’s Landing. This is a wonderful place to stay if you need a fishing charter, or want to go kayaking at Miller’s Landing.  2 Bedrooms and 1 bath. Sleeps up to 8 people ($269 per night based on double occupancy). Nice view of Resurrection Bay and the Chugach Mountains. There are two double beds and a single bed in the upstairs bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and 2 double beds. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker and toaster, comes with dish’s, no stove in the cottage but there is a propane grill for outside cooking. There is a modern bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.  Additional person is $15 per night per person. 
 

 

Otter Cottage:

(Sleeps 10 people):  Otter Cottage sleeps up to 10 people. It is also the only cottage at Lowell Point that has an outside hot tub.

The Otter Cabin is a larger, charming large 2 bedroom, two story cottage/home just across the street from the beach on Lowell Point with a spectacular view of Resurrection Bay and is about a 2 minute walk from Miller’s Landing.

The cottage is self contained with a full kitchen and 1 bath tub and shower and outside hot tub.

You can see Sea Otters playing in the ocean from the cabin! Eagles, sea lions and sometimes whales are also fun to watch! Enjoy beachcombing Seward’s only mile long beach, just minutes from your cabin. When the salmon are in, they run right in front of the Otter Cottage, so you can have fun catching them off the beach or in a boat rental (or maybe your own boat too!). look for starfish, eagles, and playful sea otters as you enjoy the spectacular view.  Or, rent a kayak, take kayak lessons, or go on a guided kayaking trip from Miller’s Landing, just a few doors down…! 

There are excellent hiking trails nearby – the Caine’s Head 5 mile coastal trail starts just down the street and was listed as one of the top ten hikes in Alaska by Alaska Magazine!   Want to fish or see the bay?  Miller’s Landing also has boat and motor rentals!  If you have your own boat, this is an ideal place to come because you can launch it just down the street at Miller’s Landing!  This cottage is only about a two minute walk to Miller’s Landing. 

This is a 2-story home that can sleep up to 8comfortably. Sleeping areas are on the 2ndfloor in2 large rooms. Master area has 1 queen bed and 2twin beds. 2ndarea has 1 full size bed and 2 twin beds. There is a queen hide-a-bed in the living room. The 1stfloor is a large open are with sitting area, eating area and kitchen. The bath is off of the kitchen area and has a tub/shower, toilet and sink. Hot tub on the rear deck. There is no television reception but a CD/DVD player with an assortment of DVD's. Kitchen has large refrigerator, electric stove, double sink, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher. Wi-Fi available.

This is one of the only cabins in Seward of its size (holding 10 people) that has a hot tub and is also close to the beach!

Alaska Base Camp Oceanfront Lodging Yurt:

 $175 for the first two people and $25 for each additional person; sleeps 2 comfortably and up to 4 or 5 in a more crowded setting. This is a new beautiful yurt on the oceanfront with a dynamite view and a mile long beach to walk on. You can drive right up to it on the oceanfront… It is common to see lots of eagles, sea otters, sometimes whales and sea lions and cruise ships sailing in and out of the Bay. It is located just a short walk from Miller’s Landing (about a 4 minute walk) where you can rent boats, kayaks, and go fishing. There is great beach fishing during the fishing season for salmon. It has a spectacular oceanfront view, and is very modern with a kitchen, refrigerator, BBQ grill and coffee pot but no cooking stove. It sleeps 2 comfortably but can sleep up to 5 with a queen size bed, a futon, a day bed with trundle that has two twins in the trundle.

Beach Houses:

The Beach Houses are across the street from Resurrection Bay, and approximately 3 minutes from Millers Landing with full beach access to a beautiful mile long beach on either side (across the street). One place sleeps 6 and one sleeps 7. The Tree fort Apartment is nestled in the trees looking out at a beautiful rain forest. It is ideal for a couple, but can sleep up to 5. It There is also a private cabin that you can rent together with either of these 3 places that has a queen futon and a single mattress in the loft and can sleep up to 3.  The Beach Houses are an ideal location for groups of up to 21 or families.

Beach House # 1: This is a 2 bedroom house with 1 bathroom (shower only) and a fully furnished kitchen that can sleep up to 7 people.  It has one private bedroom with a queen bed, a private loft with a queen mattress, a queen sofa bed in the living room, and a sunroom with a kitchen table and a single futon.

Beach House # 2:  This is a 2 bedroom house with 1 bathroom (shower/tub) and a fully furnished kitchen that can sleep up to 6 people.  It has two private bedrooms with queen beds and a queen sofa bed in the living room.

Our rates for Beach Houses #1  and#2:

$170 per night + 3% tax nightly, double occupancy + $15 per additional person. Children 2 and under are free.  Cribs are available for $15 a day.  Full payment required for reservations; owner does not accept credit cards, and requires check to be sent to her.  (Miller’s Landing will provide details at time of reservation). Cancellations with full refund can be made no later than June 1 by calling the owner directly on the phone. (Miller’s Landing will provide owner’s phone number at the time of the reservation). Miller’s Landing does charge a $15 cancellation charge.

North of Seward - Moose Cabin:

The Moose Cabin is located on the grounds of a private home with it’s own private entrance.  It is about a 10 minute drive to the town of Seward and a 15 minute drive to Miller's Landing.  It  is fully furnished and has  two bedrooms. 

One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds.  It also has a full futon in the living room.  It can accommodate up to six people.  It has a full bath with tub and shower.  It also has a washer and dryer.  The Kitchen is fully furnished with everything you'll need to cook and serve that salmon or halibut you just caught!  The front room has Television with a VCR and Cable.  There is a deck off the main entrance for bar-b-q's or just relaxing in the fresh air.

The view is of the forest, mountains and Lost creek which usually has trout and spawning salmon for your viewing...   Also watch for an occasional moose to saunter through the yard! Please no smoking or pets inside the apartment.  Both are allowed outside.

Chalet:

North of Seward Chalet is located in a natural woodland setting, amenities include cable TV, hot tub, laundry room, complete kitchens with utensils, linens, and fish freezer. This cabin is comfortable, affordable, clean and the perfect setting for your Alaskan adventure. This cabin is No Smoking / No Pets

The Chalet is a large cozy cabin that will sleep 6 to 8 people. It has a fully supplied kitchen, full size bath, linens and Cable TV. There is a double bed upstairs, two singles and double downstairs, and a pull out couch.  $160 per night based on 4 occupants, and $15 for each additional guest after the fourth person.

Can also be booked with Chalet Cabin #1, Chalet Cabin #2, and Chalet Cabin #3.

Nick and Beulah's Four- Bedroom Cabin:

This is a very nice 4 bedroom cabin; sleeping 8 people maximum for $250 to $350 depending on the amount of rooms taken: ($250 rate is for 2 bedrooms or up to 4 people and each additional room taken is $50 more). (The house is only rented to one group of people at a time.) TWO NIGHT MINIMUM UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED.  (Note: Children under age 2 are still counted as a person).  There are 4 bedrooms total; - two have a queen bed in each room; one has a double bed, one has two twin (long) beds.  There is a bathroom with tub and shower; and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, cooking utensils and a full fridge. Also a BBQ grill outside. The comfortable living room has cable TV, VCR and wireless internet service. Local phone service is provided; should you need to make long distance calls, be prepared to pay with credit card or prepaid phone card. NOTE: There is an additional charge for not fully cleaning the kitchen upon departure.  No Pets, No Smoking indoors.  Open May through September only.  Check in is 4 PM : Check out is 11 PM .  $50 hour fee for late check outs.  Cash or checks only (but credit card will be taken for collateral and for no/show purposes).  This cabin is a nice cabin, located outside of town.  It is approximately a 10 minute drive to downtown Seward or the boat harbor; and a 15 minute drive to Lowell Point (Miller's Landing).

Dairy Hill Lodging:

Dairy Hill Lodging is located on Dairy Hill in a quiet and peaceful setting.  It is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the Seward Harbor, a ten minute walk from the cruise ship dock and the Alaska Railroad Depot, and a 25 minute walk to downtown Seward and the Alaska Sea Life Center.  There is also a great bald eagle viewing spot, which is a favorite for photographers, less than a 5 minute walk away.  For your privacy, there is a separate outside entrance to you room.

The Dairy Hill Lodging provides the following room options:

Queen Bedroom (room A): This bedroom has a queen bed, table and chairs, cable TV, and large private bathroom with tub and shower. The rate is $169/night plus 11% tax. Based on double occupancy, $15 per extra person per night.

One Bedroom Suite (Room B): This room has 2 double beds, sofa bed, table chairs, microwave, small fridge, cable TV, large room with tub and shower. The rate is $199/night plus 11% tax.  Based on double occupancy, $15 per extra person per night.

Two Bedroom Suite: This suite is Room A and Room B. The rate is $368/night plus 11% tax.  Based on double occupancy, $15 per extra person per night.  Sleeps up to 7 people.        

R&M- An English Lodge:

This Lodge is reserved as a whole house. Each of the three bedrooms is decorated with the English countryside in mind.  Settle back, have a cup of tea and enjoy the quiet. Watch for the occasional visit from our local wildlife. You never know what might be just outside the door, grazing amongst the trees! Enjoy unique European hospitality and beautiful mountain views during your stay in our cozy English cottage. $270.00 per night (sleeps 3-10); 3 bedrooms/2 baths; queen size bed in each bedroom with either a double sofa bed or twin sofa bed. Fully equipped Kitchen. Based on 6 people, additional adults are $20.00 each per night. This is perfect for a larger family or group looking to stay together. Conveniently located in quiet woodland setting only three miles north of the lovely town of Seward, Alaska. This is a perfect cabin for the larger group wishing to stay all together in the same location. Continental Breakfast included.

In Town - Sea Suites:

2 suites based on availability; $250 per night per suite in July and August. May, June, and September are $225 (based on party of 4, $25.00 per night per additional person); Each suite includes a main bedroom with a king bed; and depending on your needs either a room with a queen size bed or 2 twin beds; fully equipped kitchen; dining area; cable TV; full bathroom and washer and dryer. Queen size rollaway beds are also available. Sea Suites is located at the base of Mt. Marathon with a view of down town Seward, and with-in walking distance of numerous seaside restaurants, gift shops, fishing charters, and whale watching and glacier tours. Children 10 and under stay free.

North of Seward: Ravenquest #1:

North of Seward Raven Cabin #1 is a comfortable spacious cabin with private bath with two sleeping areas.  It is perfect for a larger group or family traveling together.  It sleeps six to seven people with a queen and twin bed on the main floor and another twin and queen bed in the loft. There is also a rollaway available.  The cabin is conveniently located at Mile 6, just 3 miles North of Seward, and is surrounded by 4 acres of beautiful spruce trees, providing a peaceful and quiet setting. The cabin has a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. There is no stove to cook on, but there is a charcoal barbeque outside to use.

$210 for the first 6 people and $25 for the rollaway bed if you need it for a seventh person. No smoking and no pets.

North of Seward: Ravenquest #3:

North of Seward Raven Cabin #3 is a comfortable spacious cabin with private bath with two sleeping areas.  It is perfect for a larger group or family traveling together.  It sleeps six to seven people with a queen bed on the main floor and two twin beds and a queen bed in the loft. There is also a rollaway available.  The cabin is conveniently located at Mile 6, just 3 miles North of Seward, and is surrounded by 4 acres of beautiful spruce trees, providing a peaceful and quiet setting. The cabin has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and a two-burner cook stove. Also there is a charcoal barbeque outside to use. This cabin has a bathroom with a shower (sorry no tub).

North of Seward - Cedar Cabin is a beautiful cabin perfect for 2 people but could sleep 4 although it may be crowded with four.  It is in a secluded wooded setting north of the town of Seward but just a 10 minute drive to town. The cabin comes with teas, coffees, hot chocolate, dishes, utensils and a BBQ on the front porch, and even comes with paper plates!  There is a thermostatically controlled fireplace.   It has a king sized bed and a queen sized futon.  The bath has a large shower completely stocked with toiletries. Check-in is 2:00PM. 

 Rates: One night $178.50.00 based on double occupancy, $15.30 per each extra person per night, 4 people maximum. Two nights will be $153.00 per night.  Four or more nights will be $137.70 per night.

North of Seward- Abode Well Cabins:

Nestled in the woods just minutes from Seward and Exit Glacier, sits 7 beautifully handcrafted cabins. Enjoy a peace of Alaskan wilderness amongst stately 250 year-old Sitka Spruce. Have your camera close at hand for the variety of wildlife that frequents this area. These cabins are perfect for the independent traveler seeking to experience all the wonders of Seward in true comfort.

Featuring a queen size bed or 2 twin beds, cabins 1 through 6 are ideal for 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children. These cabins offer a spacious bedroom and a full size bathroom.

For larger families or groups, we offer a large 2 bedroom cabin that sleeps up to 8. This cabin has a queen and a twin bed in each bedroom, as well as a sleeper sofa. With a gigantic living room and a fully equipped kitchen, this cabin offers all the comforts of home.

Whale Inn:

Alaska’s Whale Inn is a house that has separate suites, each with their own private entrance, their own private kitchens and baths, and cable TV, TV/VCR and more. It is just a few minute’s walk to the SeaLife Center and downtown Seward and about a mile away from the Seward Small Boat Harbor, making it ideal for those coming in on the train or wishing to lodge in Seward without renting a vehicle. A description of each of the suites is listed below:

"The International Suite"
Sleeps 5 people for $189 for 2 and $10 for each additional person. It has a large one bedroom suite with wood floors through out and a private entrance. It sleeps five people with a queen bed in one bedroom, and a queen futon in the living room and a twin rollaway. It has a full kitchen with pots, pans dishes… Also the living room area has TV/VCR, stereo, cable, Books, DVD’s, and an antique piano. It has 3 large windows with stunning views of Seward's mountains and glaciers. From the large bay window, you can see the mouth of Resurrection Bay and surrounding mountains. Enjoy our antique piano and original hardware on the doors.

"The Harlequin Suite"

sleeps 4 and is $169 for 2 and $10 for each additional person. It features an eclectic one bedroom suite, with a queen pillow top mattress in one bedroom; and a twin daybed and a trundle bed with two twins. It has a full kitchen with pots/pans, stove refrigerator and a full private bath with tub and shower. The living room has a TV/VCR, cable, stereo, books, CD’s and videos. This warm and cozy space offers views of Mount Marathon, Seward's mountains and Resurrection Bay.

"Serenity Suite" 

Sleeps up to six people comfortably. $169 for two people and $10 for each additional person with a king and twin in the bedroom and a queen futon in the living room. There is also a twin rollaway, a full kitchen with all dishes/pots/pans and a full private bath with tub/shower. The living room has TV/VCR, books, cable, CD’s, games, and videos. "SERENITY" has a lovely view of Mt Marathon surrounding Mountains and Resurrection Bay. It has a full kitchen and private entrance.

 The Ho Hum Lodge:

The HoHum Lodge: (sleeps 6) $310.00 additional guest charge after 6 people at $10.00 per person. Rents out rooms from $90 a night to $130 a night. It is located outside of Seward just a short drive to town.  There is a community living room, dining room, and kitchen area where continental breakfast is served.   Courtesy drop off and pickup service is provided.  Rent the entire house or by room.

Berry Patch House B&B:

(sleeps up to 10 people) $350/with breakfast $335 without breakfast, (no additional cost for additional guests) plus 3% sales tax. The Berry Patch House  is situated on a one acre lot on a quiet cul-de-sac street and is just a short distance from the hub of the town. The perimeter of the property is abundant with wild raspberry and blueberry bushes. Feel
free to relax on the hammock, soak in the hot tub, meander through the
woods, check out the chickens, browse our garden selection or pick
berries at your leisure.

  There are 3 rooms, 2 queen beds, 2 double beds, and 2 twin beds. 2 bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs. Includes TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, BBQ, and wireless internet access.

 
   Your hosts are hikers, avid gardeners and hobby chicken farmers. We
can offer tips on sustainable living and point you in the right direction to
enjoy the beautiful views from local trails.

   Breakfast includes full breakfast with farm fresh eggs, specialty Alaskan
meats (moose bacon or caribou sausage) and homemade jellies from
the berries on our property. Served daily 7-9AM. If you're in a hurry or
need to catch an early charter, fresh fruit, muffins, and oatmeal is
available unhosted continental style 5-7AM.

Lakeside Suite

$159 per night/double occupancy $15 per person per night for each additional person up to 4. 3% sales tax (Off season rates are: $89 and are effective the day after Labor day until the day before Memorial Day weekend in May.)  One night deposit to hold; 90 days cancellation notice required; no pets; non smoking room; check out 11 AM; check in after 3 PM;

This is a beautiful oceanfront Inn, where from your porch you can touch the sea, fall asleep listening to the ocean surf… collect the gifts of the sea; from star fish to sand dollars and sea glass….  Watch the romantic cruise ships come by your window…   This is just what the doctor ordered… peace and quiet… incredible eagles everywhere… seals and sea lions and sometimes a whale right outside your window!  Bring your fishing pole and fish from the beach for salmon!

This lovely house has one room on the oceanfront with a private beach and private entrance. The Bed and Breakfast has won awards for having the most beautiful garden in the area. Has a queen sized bed with a double bed in the loft.  The private bath is located in the area below the loft. This spacious room includes a coffee maker, toaster, microwave and refrigerator. The front deck has a picnic table and great scenery. There is an in-room telephone. The telephone line can also be used by guests with a laptop computer.

Brass Lantern Bed and Breakfast: (sleeps 4) $150 per night (double occupancy $15.00 per extra person per night). Whether you're after holiday adventure or a quiet escape from the world, Brass Lantern B&B is your haven.

You are invited to refresh your spirit in the peace and beauty of Resurrection Bay and the majestic Chugach Mountains. Relax and enjoy the vacation you'll always remember with cruises, fishing, sailing, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, hiking, whale watching, and other abundant wildlife.

Our B&B features a kitchen, bath, comfortable sitting area, two cozy bedrooms (queen, twin/trundle) and an upper deck with views of the bay. Patio, lawn chairs, and propane grill are also available for your use. This is a private unit and not shared with others.

Though surrounded by wilderness, we are still conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, gift shops, and Laundromats.

Stellar Jay Chalet:

(sleeps 7) $275 based on 4 people per night. $25.00 per additional person per night.  Named for the Northern Blue Jay that is a frequent visitor, this warm, cozy, beautifully decorated chalet is nestled among the Hemlock and Spruce trees high on the hill affording sweeping views up the valley to the far end of Trail Lake.

The perfect romantic getaway for two people, conveniently designed for two people, couples to share- and great for families.

The chalet has three levels; two bedrooms and a loft, two bathrooms and two living/family rooms - Beds for 7.

The  bottom level has an entrance area, family room with TV/DVD, bathroom, one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with a twin/full bunk bed and sliding glass doors offering wonderful views of the lake and mountains (and this summer- opening out onto a large deck).

The second level has the living and dining areas with cathedral ceiling and large windows, TV/DVD and gas fireplace; full kitchen with counter bar that seats four; dining table seats six; a second bath and laundry.  The deck has a grill, stunning lake views, and the entertaining birdfeeders frequented by local feathered friends and their furry nemeses. 

A spiral staircase leads to the loft and a queen bed, with a window that allows you to lay in bed and be mesmerized by the starlight, moon-splashed, aurora- filled night sky.

The forested grounds are filled with a collection of whimsical birdhouses - befitting the chalets theme.  The northern Taiga forest has been left undisturbed here, and a rock-lined trail winds through the trees beside the soft mosses, Cranberry bushes, Labrador Tea, and Dogwood berries.  The hot tub sits among the trees with views of the surrounding mountains and sky.  Winter Rates available (October 1st through April 30th)

Cooper Landing Fishing Cabins:

• River view Cabin: (sleeps 6) $165 per night; Our latest addition comfortably sleeps six, as two full-sized beds complete the common upstairs, and the living room futon below unfolds to avail a bed. Includes a complete kitchen and bath, as well as a scenic back deck with personal river view.

• Big House: (sleeps 6-10) $200 per night; Our three private-bedroom log home is furnished to comfortably sleep 6-10, as it also includes an open-lofted futon bed as well as two living room couches. The kitchen is fully-equipped; the 1.5 baths include a washer/dryer set. The oil and wood stoves provide warmth and comfort. This complete home is perfect for larger parties.

• River House: (sleeps 4) $225 per night; Enjoy our quaint riverfront log home that comfortably sleeps 4, with two full size beds located on the top floor. At midlevel, enjoy a full size kitchen, living and dining area with full views of the river. Includes bath, atrium and covered back deck on same level.
